Build relationships BEFORE you need them!

The best way to create truly meaningful relationships with others is to meet them in the real world. Here are some upcoming events that are hosted by members of this community; as well as business and non-profit organizations that cater to preppers, survivalists, and homesteaders. When you attend these events, be proactive and introduce yourself to others. You never know where it might lead!

I also suggest that you join Eventbrite* and host at least one meeting/event to discuss (or teach about) a specific topic of interest to you. If you decide to do this, please add your event to our list (this page) and post an announcement in our FaceBook group.

* Note that it is free to host free events on Eventbrite. (MeetUp charges a fee for all events.)

IMPORTANT NOTE: I have not "vetted" or "approved" any of these upcoming events. I am merely listing them as a courtesy to the community. Always use your best judgement (and follow your gut instincts!) when meeting strangers. Also, make sure someone knows where you are going and how long you expect to be there.
