At its core, spiritual healing is very simply a matter of releasing pain (relates to the past) and fear (relates to the future), which are often referred to as "energy blocks". In practice, there are an infinity of ways to facilitate spiritual healing; but, in my experience, talking about it (pain and fear) again and again and again in a vain attempt to finally understand it enough to make it go away forever is not one of them. This approach only feeds the problem!

Instead, for spiritual healing to be effective, pain and fear must be strategically unmasked, identified, acknowledged, accepted, and ultimately transcended.

In my practice, I use many different healing modalities. In fact, I am often inspired to create new techniques in the moment as they are needed for particular situations. Every person and every situation is unique and may require a very unique healing experience.

That being said, I have come to feel that the healing modality known as Reiki (which is a Japanese word meaning "Universal Life-Force Energy") is one of the most powerful and most universally applicable modalities in existence because it requires so little in the way of dogma and ritual. It strips away almost* everything but unconditional love infused with one's healing intentions. And, in most cases, it works very, very well!

If you have never experienced a Reiki session, you are in for a treat! On the other hand, if Reiki doesn't feel right to you for any reason; well use another approach that does.

*Some Reiki practitioners concern themselves with proper origin, lineage, procedures, and symbols; which I do have, use, and teach in my Reiki classes, but also recognize and acknowledge as being important primarily as a token of tradition and respect.
